Community Kitchen Program in Bamyan province

EWSSO, in partnership with UNDP, successfully carried out the Community Kitchen Program in Bamyan Province, providing daily meals to 300 vulnerable and underprivileged individuals. Over the course of 100 days, the program delivered nutritious and well-balanced meals, including rice, beans, fresh vegetables, and fruits, ensuring that those most in need had access to regular, healthy food. This initiative not only addressed immediate hunger but also aimed to improve overall health, well-being, and resilience among marginalized community members. By supporting these families through consistent and sustainable food assistance, the program reinforced the commitment of EWSSO and UNDP to empower local communities and alleviate the hardships faced by the poorest segments of society.
