The President Message
Message from Abdul Fatah Jawad, President of Ehsas Welfare & Social Services Organization (EWSSO), on the Occasion of the New Year (2025)

To the thousands of dedicated volunteers and employees of Ehsas Welfare and Social Services Organization (EWSSO), as well as all compassionate and generous individuals in Afghanistan and around the world, I extend my heartfelt wishes for a joyous and prosperous New Year in 2025.
As we step into this new year, I pray to God Almighty for harmony, peace, prosperity, and kindness to prevail. May we collectively work towards eradicating poverty and unemployment so that everyone can live a life of dignity, value, and tranquility.
Dear brothers and sisters, our beloved Afghanistan continues to face severe challenges, including child and women’s hunger, unemployment, and widespread poverty. As a nation, we remain impoverished, deprived of the fundamental necessities of life. Tragically, more than half of our population suffers from malnutrition and food insecurity, a situation that, if left unaddressed, will result in further suffering and loss of life.
Adding to these struggles, the effects of climate change are becoming more evident every year. Afghanistan is experiencing increasing droughts, severe floods, and changing weather patterns, which have worsened food shortages and displaced countless families. These environmental challenges disproportionately affect the most vulnerable, deepening the hardships they already face.
At Ehsas Welfare and Social Services Organization (EWSSO), we are not only committed to addressing immediate needs but also to working on sustainable solutions that can help communities adapt to the impacts of climate change. By supporting initiatives such as sustainable agriculture, water management, and environmental education, we aim to create a more resilient future for Afghanistan.
EWSSO serves as a bridge between your generosity and the urgent needs of Afghanistan’s most vulnerable populations. We invite you to take an active role in addressing the hardships faced by our people. Through our transparent and reliable humanitarian aid programs, we ensure that your donations reach those who need them most.
Together, we can bring hope and relief to Afghanistan’s impoverished and displaced communities, while also preparing them for the challenges of a changing world. Your continued support is vital for making a tangible difference in the lives of those who are suffering.
Let us join hands to bring light into the lives of those in need throughout Afghanistan.
With gratitude and best wishes,
Abdul Fatah Jawad
President of Ehsas Welfare and Social Services Organization (EWSSO)
