Born in Logar Province, Afghanistan, Mohammad Eshaq “Safi” is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in community development, civil engineering, communication, and management. He completed his secondary education at Kolangar Jehadi High School, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Nangarhar University, and went on to complete a Master’s in Public Administration from Payam Noor International University, Kabul branch. Most recently, he attained a Diploma in English Language (DEL) from Kardan University.
Eshaq has built an impressive career with both national and international organizations, including BRAC Afghanistan, the Citizens’ Charter Afghanistan Program (CCAP) funded by the World Bank, and the International Rescue Committee (IRC). His work has focused on creating and implementing impactful programs that promote sustainable infrastructure, improve access to education, and foster community empowerment across Afghanistan.
With specialized training in project management, irrigation structure design, and renewable energy, Eshaq is skilled in technical tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Arc-GIS. He is fluent in English, Dari, and Pashto, which enables him to communicate effectively across diverse communities.
In his free time, Eshaq enjoys regular exercise and has a passion for Wushu martial arts, which he practices to stay active and disciplined. His dedication to personal fitness and professional growth reflects his commitment to supporting the empowerment of Afghan communities.
